end of year meme, woo

From my past year of writing, what was...
My best story of this year: Going with Allowed, aka Asexual!Eames!fic for this.
My most popular story of this year: Hard to say, because of the way the comments are scattered and the question of whether or not Delicious saves count. I'm going to say either Allowed or Currency.
Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion: I don't really feel any of the fic I wrote for Inception was under-appreciated. I think the ones that got less reaction were mainly just not as good.
Most fun story to write: Going with The Rube Goldberg Variations. That one was so self-indulgent, you don't even know. There's even a tiny self-insertion cameo bit.
Story with the single sexiest moment: Arthur in the shower from Might Be Laughing a Bit Too Loud, IMHO.
Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: Nothing I've actually written, but let's just say, part of the influence for Allowed came from the fact that I've been thinking about a fic titled 'Algolagnia' for months now.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Basically the whole purpose of Tabula Rasa.
Hardest story to write: Can't Catch My Memory, for involving a crapload of angst and a little action, both of which are very hard for me to do well. Or at all.
Biggest Surprise: When people commented on Tabula Rasa. When someone commented on the Ten Songs meme I did ages ago.
Most Unintentionally Telling Story: Not as unintentional as it should be, but a cross between The Rube Goldberg Variations (hello, my RL-fannish side!) and Allowed (Arthur's view of sexuality is far too close to my own).
In conclusion: I haven't written fic in ages before Inception. I don't think I've ever had as much fun writing anything, fanfic or original, as I did in this fandom. Rock on!
