I love how the painting has grown to become such an important part of the story.

Arthur goes quiet when he's angry, withdraws and pulls himself tightly closed.
This strikes me as being very true to character. Also, Eames' realisation that he'd taken on Arthur's intimidation tactics was lovely. They have ceased being two entirely separate entities and are now so very intertwined. ♥

If he could, he'd paint a picture of Arthur as he was, right then and there, tuck it into his wallet for safekeeping. But that's no help, really. He doesn't even has his wallet on him.
Oh Eames.

I'm so afraid that Eames will lose himself. And Arthur has vowed not to meddle, so I guess he's got to somehow be reminded that he's Eames, not Alex. :S

Yay, I'm glad Ariadne's there. Lol, I should have known that Arthur would just stick to the 'I will not accompany you' as opposed to the 'I will not help'. :D

Oh wow. So I'm guessing the other Alex a projection of Bayliss'? And why did Eames not manage to get into Alex's headspace? Was it something to do with the sedative, or just that there was already an Alex 'existing' on that level already? Hm, but the latter reason doesn't quite sound right to me. *skips along to read the final part*
